This policy explains what information kennethskrans.com collects, how it is used, and your choices. This site is operated by Kenneth S. Krans Negrón, Licensed Insurance Agent.
What we collect
When you submit a request or subscribe, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, the coverage you are asking about, and any message you include. We do not ask for sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or health records through this website.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, to provide the insurance services you ask about, and, if you opt in, to send occasional updates. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party processors
When you submit a form, your contact and interest details (name, email, phone, ZIP code, and the coverage you selected) are stored in Mailchimp (Intuit Mailchimp), which we use to manage inquiries and, if you opt in, to send email; that information is handled under Mailchimp's privacy terms. Any free-text message or question you write is sent to us by email through our email provider and is not stored in Mailchimp. We use Microsoft Bookings (part of Microsoft 365) for scheduling calls; the booking calendar is embedded from Microsoft and loads only when you choose to load it. These providers process data on our behalf.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not set cookies. In your browser's local storage we keep your language preference so the site remembers it between visits. For the current visit only (session storage), we also keep how you arrived — the referring site or campaign tags from the link you clicked, and the first page you landed on — and if you submit an inquiry we attach that arrival detail to it, so we can see which outreach is useful. It isn't used to track or identify you, and it clears when you close the tab. For traffic measurement we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that counts page views without using cookies and without tracking or identifying individual visitors. We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics, another cookieless tool, to measure site traffic and SEO performance; it likewise does not track or identify individual visitors. No advertising cookies are used. The scheduling calendar is embedded from Microsoft Bookings and does not load unless you click to open it; if you do, Microsoft may set cookies needed to operate that calendar, and you can instead open it in a new tab or simply call or email. You can clear site data at any time through your browser settings.
Links to third-party sites (travel insurance)
Our travel insurance buttons send you to third-party platforms (RedTravel and Mundial, operated by Redbridge) to get a quote or buy a policy. Those sites are not operated by us. Any information you enter there is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not this one.
Data retention
We keep your information for at least 7 years. The seven-year minimum is our own internal policy; where law, regulators, a carrier, or an open matter (a claim, dispute, or legal hold) requires a longer period, those external requirements control. Records are not deleted automatically on a set date; once the applicable period has passed, they are reviewed before any secure deletion.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Email kskrans@akapr.com and we will respond. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time.
